By acquiring Mediafusion, Jet Multimedia becomes in 2005 the European leader for interactive online services and reveals its worldwide development strategy for the next 3 years

 


Paris and Madrid, January 19, 2005

Jet Multimédia is buying 100% of the capital of the Spanish group Mediafusion. This operation, valuating Mediafusion for E 37.8 Mln, is made in cash for E 26.3 Mln and in Jet Multimedia shares for E 11.5 Mln (corresponding to the creation of approximatively 715,000 news shares, this creation being submitted to the vote of an Extraordinary General Assembly having place February 21, 2005). To this amount could be added an earn-out, limited to E 17 Mln. This strategic operation is relutive for Jet Multimedia shareholders.

Mediafusion is a multi-channel voice, data, Internet, WAP, SMS & MMS server. Mediafusion is the leader on the Spanish market of BtoC and BtoB value added services for fixed & mobile telephony. In 2004, Mediafusion achieved approximatively E 55 Mln sales for approximatively E 5 Mln EBIT. The company, profitable, as known 100% average growth since 2000 and employs around 100 people in Madrid.

Mediafusion offers a wide range of products & services enabling to cover the needs of its clients for telecommunication and interactive online services (voice & data, fixed & mobile):

  • Mobile: SMS, WAP, Premium MMS
    • value added services for content providers and publishers (vote, chat, quizz, games, promotion, news...)
    • mobile personalization with in-house ans external content (logos, ringtones, pictures, games...)
    • marketing solutions with Push SMS
  • Fixed telephony: Audiotex 80x et 902
    • BtoB : value aded services for businesses (customer service, helpdesk...)
    • BtoC : entertainment interactive telephony services
