SALES FOR THE FIRST NINE MONTH OF 2004 UP 24%
Jet Multimédia group
consolidated sales for the first nine months of 2004 reached E106.5 million, compared to E85.6 million for
the same period last year, growing 24%. Sales for the third quarter achieved E34.1 million compared to E29.8
millions in 2003, an increase of 14%.
This increase results from a progression over 9 months from approximately 24% for
the "Online Services Hosting" division, which reached E92.9 millions sales, and
approximately 28% for the "Advertising & Communication" divisions, which carried out E14.5 million sales.
Over the 3rd quarter, the Mobile business represents more than 10% of the sales.
This proportion should develop thanks to the voluntarist strategy carried out on this growth driver :
indeed, according to the "Observatoire des Mobiles" published in October 2004 by the Authority of
Regulation of Telecommunications, the Wap, I-Mode, MMS or e-mail multimedia services offered by the
mobile operators were used, during this quarter, by more than 8 million customers, which accounts for
20% of the total active customer base in France. |
